The use of this online portal is reserved solely to merchants, dealers and traders in terms of the HGB (German Commercial Code), i.e. entrepreneurs in terms of § 14 BGB (German Civil Code) as well as self-employed freelancers. Consumers in terms of § 13 BGB are explicitly excluded from using this online portal. Upon registering, you confirm that you are acting as an entrepreneur in terms of § 14 BGB. According to § 14 BGB, an entrepreneur must be a natural or legal person or a partnership having legal capacity exercising their commercial or self-employed activities when entering into a legal transaction.
